Nineteen months of changes, reconstructed patch by patch and played back in order. The strongest build of this game shipped fourteen months ago and nothing since has matched it.
Most games are no longer what they were when they were reviewed. We keep reading the launch verdict anyway.
We reconstructed every historical build and played them in sequence. The pattern is consistent: each patch solved a complaint from the loudest players and removed something the game needed.
Four content drops in two years, none of which touched the core loop. We tracked session length across all of them and found the only farming simulation that has not inflated itself into tedium.
No announcement, no changelog entry. We recorded acquisition rates daily for three months and the curve moved. The publisher's position is that nothing changed; our numbers say otherwise.
The mode that carried every launch review was retired in month eight. Fourteen months on, the review scores it earned for that mode are still the first thing you see on any storefront.

Reading nineteen months of changelogs against our own recorded match data, the correlation between what players asked for and what shipped is weaker than anybody assumes.
Re-review
We logged session length, task count and idle time across four content drops. The game that added the least is the only one where our sessions did not get longer and worse.

Note
Three tracked titles have removed map areas that reviewers specifically praised. In none of the three cases did any published score change.
Patch analysis
Our recorded lap telemetry across eight builds shows a change of roughly four per cent in cornering behaviour that the patch notes describe as a stability fix.
Re-review
Six months after launch the two chambers everybody complained about were simplified. We played both versions back to back and the original is a better game.
